Day 9
Ray continues to improve but slowly. He is still in ICU and probably will remain there through the weekend. He enjoyed watching his football games today and even showed interest in his stocks. They got him up in a chair for about 3 hours. He is still on a feeding tube which has helped get his strength up. We will update again tomorrow. Good Night.

Doug and I saw him Saturday afternoon too. He was alert and able to talk to us - but his voice is still raspy and it's hard to hear him with the mask over his mouth and nose. He said he does not feel hungry (the feeding tube is working 24 hr/day). Hard for us to relate - no food for over a week! He said he misses checking his e-mail & using the computer, so once he is able to use his laptop in the hospital, we will all have to flood him with electronic well-wishes!
